After COP22, Asilah MOROCCO

The Mediterranean Foundation for Cooperation and Development and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized an important event 10, 11 April 2017 in Asilah city, Morroco, this event was dedicated to the awareness of elected officials, the private sector, environmental associations and the media about COP22.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V. (KAS; Konrad Adenauer Foundation) is a German political party foundation associated with but independent of the centre-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The foundation’s headquarters are located in Sankt Augustin near Bonn. Globally, the KAS has 78 offices and runs programs in over 100 countries. Its current chairman is the former President of the European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pöttering. It is a member of the Centre for European Studies, the official foundation and think tank of the European People’s Party (EPP).
About 200 participants met to discuss issues and topics related to the environment and climate change on our planet earth.
The opening session of the first day, was marked by the speech of Minister Mohamed Benaissa, Chairman of Asilah commune, Minister Chafrat Afilal Minister Delegate to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment in charge of water, Resident Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation German – and Chairman of Chefchaouen Commune Mohamed Sefiani…
The Association of Scientific Research , Innovation and Technology was represented by the President Youssef Jdidou and Zakaria Sefiani.
